| Phil Thompson is a native of Dublin (Clonskeagh, Churchtown). He was educated at Wesley College. He has a Diploma in Land Surveying from Bolton Street College of Technology and a Masters Degree in Cross-Cultural Communication from Hope International University in California. He has extensive further training in sales and negotiation skills. He joined RE/MAX Ireland as a franchisee in September 2006, becoming bonded and obtaining his Estate Agent’s License.
RE/MAX grew to be the largest Estate Agency Franchise in Ireland in 2007 with over 10,000 Irish properties on their books. That year he was one of only three new agents to reach their Executive Club Standard. In 2008 he was one of their top 25 agents in Ireland, reaching their 100% Club level. | | | |
|
| | | In May 2009 he left to form his own company Classic Home Sales, based in Dundrum. In January 2011, he merged with Des Lalor, to work with him in Des Lalor Auctioneers.
Phil specialises in Residential Property Sales on the Southside of Dublin and in North Wicklow. Between January 2007 and December 2011 he was the top selling agent in his core Ballinteer area. Phil has also handled properties in Dundrum, Churchtown, Milltown, City Centre, Rathfarnham, Knocklyon, Ballycullen, Firhouse, Stepaside, Leopardstown, Stillorgan, Blackrock, Glenageary, Rathmichael, Bray, Delgany, Ashford, Lucan and Clondalkin. | | | | Buyers | One of the most frustrating things for buyers is when their Estate Agent either does not listen or does not respond to their requests!
We commit to gaining an understanding of what the buyers that contact us really want from a home and then to matching their requirements as well as possible with what is currently on the market. Our Multiple Listing System allows us to easily search across all our listed properties in Ireland and gives the best opportunity of finding the ideal property for any potential purchaser.
Furthermore, we always return phone calls and will work to show suitable properties to buyers at times that suit them.

| | Sellers | The relationship between the Estate agent and the Vendor is one where both are involved in working together to sell the property. Each lead, whether generated from our own customer buyer database or from enquiries, is followed up and the vendor is kept in touch with the on-going process throughout the viewings, not only up to the stage where an offer is accepted but right up until the sale has actually been completed and the file can be marked SALE CLOSED when the vendor has got the money in the bank and the purchaser has a new home.
In today’s market, the way in which a house is presented is more critical than ever. We often find that a little bit of work prior to putting the house on the market can reap dividends and contribute several thousands to the ultimate sale price. When we take on a property to sell, we will always advise on some of the best ways to present your property for sale.
